Top 5 best South African Restaurant in Atlanta by BTV
This is a counter-serve eatery offering South African–inspired food in a casual, modern space. Below is a customer review of zunzi’s:
Have been meaning to try this place for a while since it’s so convenient to my house and right off the highway. For some reason I never did until a couple weeks ago. I heard great things all the time from food and service, finally had my chance when I forgot to pack lunch for work and they came up as one of the fastest and more affordable options on Postmates. Oh. My. Gosh. It was delicious and I still can’t believe the price for what I got. I ended up ordering pick up the same week and was impressed again with the speed and accuracy of the order, since I’m picky.Aubrey G

Lovely nautical inspired decoration with its coastal vibe. Usually in winter, the place transforms to something reminiscent of a ski lodge with fire pits. Yebo beach Haus restaurant offers bobotie bunny chow (beef curry with apples, raisins, onions, and a fried egg), ostrich sliders, and coconut ceviche.

10 Degrees South
Owned by the famous Justin Anthony in Atlanta. It was his first restaurant. It has been in operation since 1998. Considered on the best African Restaurants in Atlanta currently. My menus favorites includes tender lamb chop lollipops served alongside a savory yogurt sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables; ostrich medallions; bobotie, a sweet beef curry served with rice; or traditional boerewors sausage.
If you a visiting in group especially if its a catch up with friends setting, then you should order the “safari platter” for a broad sampling—it comes loaded with an assortment of meats including rumpsteak, boerewors, sosaties (beef filet), and lamb chops, and it’s large enough to easily share with friends.
